We are deeply convinced that nowadays English is the most important language of technology and science. Indeed, most scientific
and technological documents in the world are written in English. In this context, we find it wise to provide students, from Higher Institutes
of Technological Studies network and also from other institutes teaching technology, with a document in technological English talking
about the Sheideld Metal arc Welding (in French "Soudage à l’arc avec electrode enrobée" ). This type of welding is the subject of the
technological content of a teaching unit entitled "Atelier Procédés et Méthodes de Production 1" and taught as part of the Applied License
in Mechanical Engineering issued by the Higher Institutes of Technological Studies network.
